Temple Open House

Oquirrh Temple

My family, parents, and Debbie's family all attended the Oquirrh Temple open house. What a great opporunity to not just see the temple, but to have your children see the temple with you. There was a special spirit that we felt because our family was with us. Tom commented on the beautiful craftsmanship that the temple offered. The beauty is remarkable.

Afterward we went to Ab's for dinner and icecream. Max always loves a good meal.

Hey soon to be bloggin buddy~! I love your blog and Max and Adrianna are adorable. I always wanted to have a boy named Max but couldn't convince Dan. Turkey.

I saw your comment on my blog! and it has been deleted! i appreciate your concern- but, my blog really is not set up for people to log on and start implying and leaving comments that people are trying to scam other's. I know people are out there that do that kind of thing! i do not get the feeling that is the case in this case! you wrote something to the effect of "don't believe everything you read on craigslist and something about people making sucker's out of other's!" leaving negative comments and implying anything like that will deter people who really wants to help people in need. Even if people previously were planning on reaching out and helping those in need- won't if they start reading and seeing these negative comments and implications! So again i appreciate your concern! i am positive you and your family are wonderful! i just do not want to deter anyone because of any comments left on my blog.

KIDS SAY AND DO THE DARNDEST THINGS...

If you know Adrianna, she loves to take baths. She sits in the tub until the water is cold. We often let her take a bath so we can get a few tasks done. (we are close enough to hear her) One Sunday, Adrianna was taking a bath and Max was was watching her. He pulls himself up on the tub and watches. The two of them had been in the bathroom for a while when I heard a strange sound. It sounded like water splashing on the tile floor. I went into the bathroom and found Adrianna dumping water out of the tub onto the floor. I was fuming...but then I saw Max, who was still perched on the outside of the tub, sopping wet and smiling from ear to ear. I had to find the strength from laughing to scold Adrianna for pouring water out of the tub.

dad- Adrianna, what did you learn at church?
Adrianna- Jesus died.
dad- Oh?
Adrianna- He lives in a castle
dad- really? where?
Adrianna- in a princess castle

We went to Costco a short time ago and while there we got to try lots of sample food. We happened upon some quiche, and apparently our children are not too fond of quiche. Adrianna tasted it and said,"I don't like it." So Max, seeing his sister spiting out the quiche, took it out of his mouth and thew his on the floor. I guess he wants to be like his older sister. Note to self: DON'T BUY QUICHE

We went to the park with family the other day. It is hard to keep track of all the kids at all times. Adrianna had apparently wandered off. I found her next to a woman who was looking for her "mommy." I went over to the woman to get Adrianna. The woman had asked Adrianna where her mommy was and she said "she got lost"

As a family we decided to walk to Chadders, it is very close to our house. We got a couple shakes and some fries to share. Max decided that he was not getting fed fast enough and grabed the shake and started to drink it. Imagine a 16 month old drinking from a large cup with a thick shake inside, it was not pretty. It ended up all over his face and shirt. In response Adrianna stated "He's a man." Tom said "yes he is"

Adrianna: dear Heavenly Father, I'm thankful for when we go to the restaurant with grandma, I didn't like my hamburger. Name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Adrianna has imaginary friends. Not the same friend from day to day, but imaginary friends in general. I asked her to help me clean her room. She told me she was playing with her friends. (imaginary ones) I said, "Can they help you clean your room?" Reply: "No mom, their just pretend."
