Tom preping for the c-section. He almost did not make it through the process (he almost passed out when they pulled a slimy baby from my stomach)

We did it, or should I say I did it. The 5th member of our family arrived June 28th 2010 via c-section. This delivery was more difficult for me, but worth it in the end. Simon was born at 10:41AM weighing 6 lbs 7 oz and 20 1/2 in long. He has a head of hair too. So far he is a great baby, Tom says he poops good, eats good, and sleeps good. What more can one ask for. Tom finally came around to the name Simon and I am glad that he did. It just seems to fit. The other kids are not as excited as I thought they would be, they seem to not care a whole lot. That is better then being jealous I guess. Thanks to my mom and Dawnell for taking the kids for 4 days, that is not an easy task. It was nice to not be bothered with children for a couple days. I took full advantage of the 4 day stay limit at the hospital. I felt like I really got to bond with Simon and really enjoy his presence. The experience was very relaxing and calm.
